This is the standard on most Motor Yachts worldwide.
WMT – Western Mediterranean Terms (Plus All Expenses)
EMT – Eastern Mediterranean Terms with Half Board
Common in Greece, Turkey, and Croatia.
CT – Caribbean Terms (All Inclusive)
Common in the Caribbean and Bahamas on Most Sailing yachts under 100 feet.
All Charter payments received from our clients are held in an Independent Escrow Account and are only disbursed to the owner on the day of boarding with the exception of provisioning funds/APA which may be disbursed up to week before your arrival.
How do I reserve a yacht?A reservation deposit of 25 to 50 % of the charter fee itself (depending on your dates) along with a signed agreement will reserve your charter. The balance is collected 45 days prior to arrival. We also offer affordable trip cancellation/travel insurance to protect you in the event of an unexpected cancellation.
How are extras paid:
If you charter a yacht rated on Western Mediterranean Terms (WMT), or any yacht that does not include fuel and meals served on board, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) of about 20-30% of the charter fee is collected just prior to your charter. These funds are used by the skipper to offset fuel and provisioning expenses during the charter. The skipper submits a full accounting along with receipts at the end of the charter or any time requested by the Charterer.
All expenses are charged to the Charterer at actual cost to the yacht, and any APA remaining is refunded prior to disembarkation, in cash in local currency. Any outstanding balances are likewise collected in cash (in local currency) before disembarking the yacht. Your skipper will advise you if any shortfall is expected, so there are no surprises.
**Crew gratuities are both customary and discretionary, and of course always gratefully received. Customs vary by destination. In the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Atlantic/Central American cruising areas, we usually recommend a calculation of somewhere between 15% to 20% of the Charter Rate for a job well done, at the charterer's discretion. For exceptional service, especially if you are Scuba Diving on board, you should consider an exceptional award. Most crew live entirely on gratuity, even if it is an owner-operated yacht! In the Mediterranean and Pacific regions, we recommend about 10% to 15% of the charter fee (not including APA) for a job well done. The actual amount is always at the Charterer's sole discretion, and should be paid in local currency. In all cases, Gratuity may be discreetly handed to the skipper in an envelope at disembarkation, along with a card or note of thanks. The skipper will distribute this equally between all crew members, unless you advise otherwise.

Inclusive Rates do NOT include shore-side purchases such as meals eaten ashore, taxis, or hire of services provided by others, such as renting Jet-skis or Dive Gear from a local supplier.
